from the August 2015 edition of the Stonecroft Printed Newsletter

Greetings from Overland Park, Kansas!

Thanks so much for your encouraging comments about the new Stonecroft Newsletter! We planned this second issue to continue informing and inspiring you!

We announced the Stonecroft theme for 2015-2016 in our July electronic newsletter (please email [email protected] if you want to receive our enews).

The theme? Stonecroft’s tagline: “where she is, as she is.”

Stonecroft takes the Gospel of Jesus Christ to each woman, where she is—where she lives, works, and plays, and as she is—no matter her life circumstance or background.

We have always taken the Good News to our neighborhoods or the country club or the jail, not expecting women to come to us. Jesus said, “. . . you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8b, NIV).

And Jesus died “while we were still sinners,” not expecting us to change first (Romans 5:8). Stonecroft volunteers share the Gospel with all kinds of women, right where they are in their lives. We want to live like Paul who said, “I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some” (1 Corinthians 9:22b).

This Stonecroft Newsletter issue shares how our volunteers take the Gospel to women, where they are, as they are, from the military to Millennials to the Ocala, Florida community.

Thanks for joining Stonecroft in our journey to help reconcile women with the God of the Universe!
