This decision has been covered in prayer from the moment the idea was first conceived, and we know you have been praying with us. Thank you for those prayers! We can’t wait to introduce you to God’s answer to those prayers.
Her name is Elaine Watkins. She comes to us from Precept, a Bible study ministry located in Chattanooga, TN, where she held the position of Chief Relationship Officer. Let me tell you a little about her and why we know she will be a good fit for us.
Elaine is a resourceful and visionary leader skilled at developing high-performance teams. She excels in providing strategic roadmaps, pertinent training, and the right technology and tools for employees while focusing on realistic and inspirational goals. She is adept in managing and motivating cross-functional teams and has strong leadership and mentoring skills.
Elaine also has extensive experience in fundraising, revenue generation, and relationship management. Can you see what a strong pairing she and Naomi will be? The Board believes with the two of them working together in their individual strengths and their shared strengths, we are going to see Stonecroft leap forward as never before!
Before Precept, Elaine served as VP of Mission India as well as Director of Ministry Services with the Bible League. She has a strong love for both God’s word and evangelism. She volunteers with Hope for the Inner City in Chattanooga and another non-profit that works with families and friends of the incarcerated. Knowing this, it is no wonder our tagline, “Every woman where she is as she is,” grabbed Elaine’s heart.
Naomi will be providing many opportunities for you to meet Elaine during upcoming Leadership Calls, Prayer Calls, newsletters, blogs, and other means so stay tuned for these announcements in your inbox and on the website.
One last thing. Elaine is as excited about joining Stonecroft as we are. In fact, her words upon acceptance were, “I am ecstatic!” She asked me to pass this on to you now:
“I am humbled and honored to be chosen to co-labor with you in this important Kingdom work. As we look toward the future together, we will build on the tremendous impact Stonecroft has had for 85 years while also seeking God’s wisdom to have even more impact for the next 85 years. I look forward to meeting each one of you to discover your Stonecroft story and how we can link arms to help women live extraordinary lives with purpose and intention!”
Again, the Board wants to thank you for your prayers through the search process. In Elaine, he has answered “infinitely more than we asked or thought of.”
