Dear Southern Leaders,

In Psalm 51:9-13, the Bible says:

Don’t keep looking at my sins. Remove the stain of my guilt.
Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.
Do not banish me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.
Then I will teach your ways to transgressors, and they will return to you.

As we come before the Lord in humble submission, we ask Him to cleanse our hearts so that we can do His work in perfect love. Then, we can walk in bold faith to obey His requests for our lives. Often, the path the Lord has for us is unfamiliar and uncomfortable. However, we know that if we read His Word daily and pray to Him continually, He will equip us for His work. John 17:17 says, “Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth.”

As we become sanctified, we are compelled to share the Gospel with those who need to hear it. This month, you have the opportunity to invite non-believers to join you at a Stonecroft outreach event, Stonecroft Bible study, or Prayer Connection. Or share your personal faith story. Step out of your comfort zone: go somewhere unfamiliar to invite someone to hear about Christ Jesus. My mom first attended a Stonecroft Women’s Connection because she picked up an invitation at a Curves Fitness Center. We never know how the Lord will draw women near to Him, but as His ambassadors, we can hit the streets with invitations to hear His Word.

Thank you Lord, for giving us the opportunity to be your hands and feet. What a blessing to be a part of a ministry reaching women where they are, as they are.

Blessings,
