Join Stonecroft’s September Prayer Focus

Prayer is the foundation of everything we do at Stonecroft, but we’re planning a special emphasis on prayer throughout September. In past years, we have invited volunteers to participate in Stonecroft’s annual Prays Walk held on a specific day in September. But this September, we suggest you and your group do a Prays Walk whenever God leads you during the month.

Also new this year: Your Prays Walk kit is available digitally so you can download and print items as you need them. Visit stonecroft.org/prayswalk to find all the resources we’ve provided for you. Click HERE to access a video message about Prays Walk from Stonecroft staff member Maddison Berciunas.

If you don’t feel led to do a Prays Walk, consider planning your own creative gathering focused on evangelistic prayer. Click HERE to download a document on evangelistic prayer to guide your prayers during September and beyond. For more resources on prayer, go to stonecroft.org/prayer.

Thank you for joining us in prayer!

Consider a Retirement-Account Gift to Stonecroft

You have worked hard to save for retirement. Have you given any thought to where those hard-earned savings will go after your lifetime? When left to individuals, as much as 35–60% of your retirement account will be paid as taxes. If a charitable gift to Stonecroft is in your plans, consider using your retirement account to fund the gift. As a charitable organization, we receive your retirement account free of tax. That means 100% of your account can go to support the cause you are most passionate about. Leave your stocks, real estate, and cash – all assets that carry a lighter tax burden – to your loved ones.

For more information on planned giving, visit stonecroft.org/donate and click on Lifetime Giving. Or contact Joan Johnson, Stewardship Manager, by phone at 800.525.8627 or email [email protected].
