Want to save money on your daily purchases like groceries and household items? Here’s one way to do that without cutting coupons. An app called Cartwheel offers a variety of discounts at Target stores. Percentage discounts are available for food, clothing, personal items, cleaning supplies, etc.
I love this app because I can make a list of things I need (planning is key), pull up the app, and then see if Cartwheel offers additional savings. For example, if I need paper towels, I simply check the related category on the app to see what discounts might be available.
Most of the time, you can find several offers ranging from as low as a 5 percent discount up to 75 percent off, depending on the brand. When an item is on sale at Target, you can apply the Cartwheel discount to the sale price as well. As a bonus, you even can use a regular store coupon and/or a manufacturer’s coupon along with the Cartwheel offer. Plus, if you have a Target debit card, you also can get an additional 5 percent off your entire purchases, no matter how much you buy.
I’m not sure about you, but when I shop, the more I can save, the better. I hope this savings tip helps you keep on track with your budget, gives you extra spending money, or prevents you from overspending.
