Stonecroft is happy to welcome two new staff members to our ministry family: Emma Reynolds, Southern divisional field director, and Mary Speidel, copywriter and editor in Marketing and Communications. Both began their duties Jan. 1.

Emma-Reynolds

Emma Reynolds

Emma is a Stonecroft woman, having served as an active volunteer, speaker, and leader for more than five years in the Lakeland, Florida, area. Her ministry background includes many different positions, such as outreach director and evangelism and women’s Bible study leader.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and international studies from Florida Southern College in Lakeland. She also served as a middle school and high school teacher for 10 years in Florida.

Emma, her husband, Mark, and their children live in Cocoa Beach, Florida, where Mark is a pastor.

Mary-Spidel

Mary Speidel

Mary served 26 years as a writer, senior editor, and bureau chief with a denominational international mission board, spending much of that time covering stories in Latin America. She has experience as a news services coordinator and writer/editor at a Christian liberal-arts college, and recently served with Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child.

Mary has a Master of Divinity degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in communication/public relations with a minor in English from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau.

“I am thrilled that both Emma and Mary have a heart for evangelism – in addition to the skills and experiences they bring to their positions,” said Lorraine Potter Kalal, Stonecroft president and CEO. “We are excited to have them join us.”
