Stonecroft Hub Launched in Southeast Denver

We’re excited to announce the launch of another Stonecroft hub – Southeast Denver! This hub is the second one to start in Colorado in late 2017; we welcomed a new Stonecroft hub in Pueblo in November.

To date, we have 22 Stonecroft hubs in communities across the United States! To learn more, go to stonecroft.org/hubs. Be sure to view the video about “Gather Dream Go,” our kickoff event that serves as the official launch of a Stonecroft hub.

Primarily led by young women, each hub is a local volunteer organization of Christian women – age 20s to 90s – who are passionate to share the Gospel with their friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Volunteers gather in these community-based organizations to receive training about how to share the Gospel. Stonecroft hubs prayerfully create and carry out plans to take the Good News to their peers in relevant ways.

Podcast Giveaway to Offer Fitness Freebies

Stay connected with Stonecroft through social media and watch this week for an announcement about our January “Ears to Speak” podcast giveaway. You could win these health and fitness items: a Stonecroft water bottle, a package of low-fat, nutrition-packed (KIND brand) health bars, and fitness expert Alisa Keeton’s book, The Wellness Revelation: Lose What Weighs You Down So You Can Love God, Yourself, and Others. Alisa, the founder of Revelation Wellness, was featured in “Fitness Witness,” our Dec. 29 episode of “Ears to Speak.” If you missed that episode, download and listen to it today at stonecroft.org/earstospeak.

This month we’ll also kick off a new series of “Ears to Speak” episodes focused on evangelism stereotypes – how we personally have played into stereotypes, how we relate to people who embody these stereotypes, and how to extend grace to ourselves and others as we share our faith. The first two episodes in this series go live on Jan. 12 and Jan. 26. Listen in at stonecroft.org/earstospeak.

Social Media Training Available

How can social media help to grow your group’s outreach and influence? Jessica Good, Chair of the Delta County (Colorado) Women’s Connection, shared her expertise on that topic during a three-part training call in November. If you missed this helpful training, you can still learn from Jessica and hear how she used Facebook and other media tools to increase their Women’s Connection attendance by 25 percent.
