The devastation and pain of 2015 is far from finished for many throughout Nepal. Earthquakes and landslides claimed over 8,000 lives, with nearly 18,000 more either injured, homeless, or both. Yet God moves and stories surface that paint the picture of a country whose very heart is opening towards Christianity.

Among the distress-laced decades of the Nepalese people, we find two long-time Stonecroft volunteers: Pastor Tej and his wife, Bidhya. Together with God they established a number of churches and orphanages intent on serving all that find themselves impoverished, marginalized, or oppressed in Nepal.

This country hungers for God. As religious freedoms explode, demand for Christianity in Nepal seems to grow daily. Pastor Tej’s ministry alone shared more than 50,000 Stonecroft resources to date! Having used Stonecroft’s studies for years, Pastor Tej believes that the publications A New Beginning, Would you Believe It?, and Prayer: Talking with God, all offer powerful help to people who seek answers about Him.
