Join us with the Lenten Prayer Guide

“The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord will answer my prayer.”
Psalm 6:9

Imagine for a moment hundreds of women across the nation, even the world, praying over the same Scripture together, asking for ways to share their faith.

It will be a sweet scent in heaven, indeed. Our agreement for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven will knit our hearts together, even across the miles.

Lent is a set time before Easter that is set aside to prepare our hearts and minds for the most important day on the Christian calendar. Not every Christian faith tradition observes it, but you do not have to adhere to any certain denomination to make it a part of your spiritual practices.

This year, Stonecroft has prepared a Lenten Prayer Guide that began on Feb. 15 and will continue through Holy Week. You can download it HERE.

Use it with a group or as an individual. Adapt it to your personal time with God or use it as is. Consider it a traveler’s guide to carry with you as you approach the Holy Day of Easter.

This guide will take you to places of hope through Scripture and prayer. They are simple prompts that leave room for the Holy Spirit to meet with you on topics like value, uncertainty, relationships, and more.

We will pray for ourselves, but we will also pray for outreach opportunities, Stonecroft as a ministry, and even our government leaders.

Allow God to bring to mind who and what He wants you to pray about, knowing we can boldly come before the throne of God as His children.

We fully expect you to hear from God during this journey toward the cross, where true hope was given. We would love to know how you experience this season and what God is showing you during this time. Tell us about it at [email protected][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
