Happy New Year from Boise Idaho!

I so appreciate our CEO’s last To Inspire You article about the hope we have as followers of Jesus Christ: the hope of a new Heaven and a new Earth, of seeing our loved ones again and spending eternity with the Christ we love and serve here and now.

In 2014, many on Stonecroft’s staff, and many of you, suffered great loss. Heaven seems even more real to those whose loved ones stepped into eternity and entered the very presence of God. They now see Jesus face to face, worshipping and transformed. This is our hope.

I love reading God’s Word. It reminds me again and again of what He offers us through His Son’s finished work on the cross. God calls all followers of Christ to live in light of eternity. This world is not our home, and God has told us, “Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world” (John 16:33b). We do not know how many days we have left to live, but I know one thing for sure: God wants our days to count. We echo Moses’ prayer in Psalm 90, “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom” (v. 12, NIV). Every day is God’s gift; that must be why we call it the present.

I love serving with Stonecroft because I serve alongside women of passion and purpose. We have embraced God’s Kingdom here and now and know it will continue for all eternity. God has released us from the bondage of sin and death. He has made us new creations in Christ. He has healed our broken hearts and set us free.

Stonecroft invites others to know this God—to come along, to get involved. When you seek to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself, you radiate contagious joy. You shine God’s love and light into a lost and dark world.

We encourage you to stay in touch, be involved, embrace every opportunity God gives you to share Christ and engage in this ministry.

In 2015 we will have Prays! Walks, new Bible studies, more monthly prayer calls, more Detox—Healthy Balanced Living experiences, more Stonecroft Military events, and more local outreaches—the list of opportunities goes on and on. Look at your 2015 calendar, plan your ways, and be a woman who leaves a fingerprint on this generation.
