Day-to-day life can be busy. With my kids getting older and more involved in school activities and sports, I found that cooking was becoming a chore.

I turned to Pinterest for inspiration. I came across freezer Crock-Pot® meals, and they looked pretty simple so I gave them a try. I’m so glad I did. These meals are amazing! Just dump all your ingredients into a freezer Ziploc® bag and – bam! You have a meal that’s ready to cook.

Here’s how to create your own freezer Crock-Pot® meals:

1. First, choose your recipes. I normally pick five recipes and make two meals of each.

2. Make a list of all the ingredients and then go shopping.

3. Prepare everything to go into the gallon-size freezer bags.

4. Divide all the ingredients and place into each bag, lay each bag flat, and put in the freezer.

The entire process to make 10 freezer Crock-Pot® meals takes about two hours. This may seem like a long time, but it’s only 12 minutes per meal.

To cook these meals, thaw the bag overnight in the refrigerator. The next morning, place contents of the bag in the Crock-Pot® on low setting. By evening, dinner is ready and a day of dinner struggle is eased!
