People often talk about that infamous Disneyland ride. You know the one. If you’ve ever experienced it, the song stays on your mind for days:

“It’s a small world after all,

It’s a small world after all …”

We typically say it’s a small world because we’ve had so many encounters when “so and so” knew “so and so.” But as believers, we look around us and know it’s not really a small world. We are burdened by the number of people who may, or may not, have a personal, eternal relationship with Jesus Christ.

God calls us to share Jesus with others, and Stonecroft’s various outreaches offer us many opportunities to help others encounter Him.

We can start by praying. You and I can ask God to put on our hearts those He wants us to invite: former classmates, friends from community clubs, business colleagues and competitors, parents of kids on sports teams, family members, friends, vendors/suppliers, former neighbors, and patrons and staff at our favorite restaurants.

Who can you invite to your next Stonecroft outreach or small group? It might change her life forever.

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”

“Well,” they replied, “some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.”

Then he asked them, “But who do you say I am?”

Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
