Teamwork is defined as “the cooperative or coordinated effort on the part of a group of persons acting together as a team or in the interests of a common cause.” Teamwork is one of the simplest concepts to define and identify in action. When you witness a team work together, you see individuals use their gifts to contribute successfully to the team goal. Whether we watch a football team win a game or see a home improvement crew transform a living space, something within our human nature gets excited when we watch people win together.

As Stonecroft volunteers, we regularly combine our gifts on Planning Teams, creating outreaches to share the Gospel with women who need a relationship with Jesus Christ. In addition to outreaches, our leaders join forces to produce conferences for all of the volunteers in our division. This past month, our leaders, led themselves by Linda Moore and Joyce Stryker, collaborated on our Southern Divisional Conference in Tampa, Florida. For more than half a year, this team worked tirelessly, in addition to their own community outreaches, to create a quality program to equip and encourage Stonecroft women throughout the Southeast. Their dedication to the ministry and delight in glorifying the Lord through their work created a meaningful time of sharing, training and fellowship. What a beautiful picture of the body of Christ at work! Thank you ladies for your love and service.

“Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.”
