Who We Are

Well, we’re Stonecroft! And we’ve been helping women tell their stories, and the story of God, since 1938. Volunteers across the U.S. and in more than 40 countries use Stonecroft’s outreaches, resources, training, and Stonecroft Bible Studies to share the Gospel. More than 15,000 Stonecroft-equipped volunteers regularly invite the women of their communities to join each other in prayer, and the advancement of this mission.

Stonecroft is a 501(c)(3) non– denominational nonprofit organization and a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA)

What We Do

Let’s call it a “God-u-cation.” No? Alright fine but, the meaning stands. We teach women about the Jesus of the Bible by taking the Gospel right to them. No matter what. Jesus’ big agenda had nothing to do with exclusivity and everything to do with perfect acceptance. That’s even where our motto “where she is, as she is” came from. A woman doesn’t need to be anything more (or less) than she is right now. She doesn’t need to be any different than who she is today. The door God opened…is still wide open for her.

Why We Do it

Because we believe that Jesus calls His followers to spread the Gospel.

We come from many different kinds of churches, but we can all agree on basic truths from the Bible. They’re the essentials that unite us. Click below if you’d like to find out what they are.

Statement of Faith

We believe in…

The supernatural and plenary (total, full, complete) inspiration of the Scriptures—that they are inerrant and that their teachings and authority are absolute, supreme, and final.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ—that His body was raised from the dead, according to the Scriptures and that He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God as the believer’s Advocate.

The atonement—that Jesus Christ became the sinner’s sacrifice before God when He shed His blood and died as the propitiation (payment) for the sins of the whole world.

The second coming of Christ, according to the Scriptures.

The Trinity of the Godhead—God, the Father; God, the Son; and God, the Holy Spirit.

The everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting punishment of the lost.

The personality of God; the personality and deity of Jesus Christ (Jesus Christ and God are one; Jesus Christ is God incarnate in the flesh), begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, very God and very Man; the personality of the Holy Spirit.

The sinfulness of man—that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, are totally depraved, and need a Savior from sin.

The necessity of the new birth—salvation is by grace, through faith, and not of works. Saving faith will maintain good works in the life of the believer.

The evangelization of the world—the supreme mission of God’s people in this age is to preach the Gospel to every person.

The literal resurrection of the body—both of the just and the unjust.

How We Do it

Stonecroft volunteers go into their communities with the message of the Gospel. God transforms women’s lives as our volunteers share their faith one-on-one and through large outreaches, small groups, Detox – Find Your Balance, Stonecroft Military, and more.

We GO wherever women are: coffee shops, retirement homes, neighborhoods, shelters, parks, jails… you name it. And we LOVE women – without judgement – no matter what. Above all, Stonecroft PRAYS because everything we do depends on God. We rely on Him to do His work while we do ours.

Stonecroft is for YOU, whether you desire to help other women find a life-changing relationship with God, or simply want to investigate what it means to know Jesus Christ. Enter the Stonecroft story today. To begin, click on Know God or Contact Us in the menu above.

Your story will never be the same.
