We Are
Stonecroft exists to help women reconcile to God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Our staff inspires, equips, and encourages women to reach women with the Gospel, each one – where she is, as she is. Since 1938, hundreds of thousands of women have been transformed through the Gospel because our Stonecroft women shared the Gospel with them. Approximately 15,000 volunteers across the United States currently invite the women around them to hear God’s story of redemption. Our vision is to usher in an unprecedented move of God as women courageously share the Gospel of Jesus Christ right where they live.

Stonecroft is a 501(c)(3) non- denominational nonprofit organization and a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA)

We Do
Every believer has a desire to see others experience the love and redemption of Jesus. However, many Christians feel a disconnect between this inward passion and their own perceived ability to share their faith. Stonecroft bridges the gap between the call and the culture. We build local volunteer teams that seek God together to imagine and implement bold avenues of Gospel outreach that are powerful and relevant.

Our volunteers experience inward transformation as they join like-minded women to bring the amazing Gospel message to their communities. They participate in the joy of joining a movement bigger than themselves, develop deep and lasting friendships, and learn to use their gifts and leadership skills to serve other women with life-changing words.

Read about some of these teams and Gospel outreaches below. All these venues allow us to share the Gospel in a winsome, thoughtful manner.

Stonecroft Hubs

The Stonecroft hub is a local organization of Christian women passionate to share the Gospel with their friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Hub volunteers receive training to reach out and talk about Jesus through small groups, larger events, and individual conversations. Each avenue for sharing Jesus is tailored to the unique needs of the community and uses the special gifts and talents of the volunteers.

Story Marks

Story Marks is a gallery event where women find connection and community as they browse displays of women’s photos and stories. Local women tell the stories behind their tattoos; at least one storyteller shares about her experience with Jesus Christ. She invites seekers to begin a relationship with Him and encourages women to continue their Story Marks experience by joining a follow-up small group.

Detox – find your balance

Detox – find your balance helps women manage their stress, set their lives in order, and live more fully. This healthy-living outreach offers fun, interactive events that include a healthy-living expo and breakout sessions. Women learn how to create a more balanced life, develop meaningful friendships, and explore a relationship with Jesus Christ. Later, they can continue their experience through a community small group.

Prays Walk

The annual Prays Walk gives women an opportunity to walk and pray for revival in homes, communities, and nations. Volunteers take prayer to the streets, to the very places needs can be met and God’s presence revealed. Some groups have shared the Gospel with neighbors who then decide to follow Jesus. Many continue to meet and prayer walk in their community in between the annual events.

Women’s Connection

About 600 Christian Women’s Clubs, Christian Women’s Connections, Vital Networks, and After5 Outreach Groups share the Gospel in their communities as part of the Women’s Connection ministry. Each outreach event includes a Speaker who tells how Jesus entered her faith story, changed it forever, and continues to be the Lord of her life. She then invites women to begin a relationship with Him. Thousands become Christ-followers every year.

Stonecroft Bible Studies

God uses Stonecroft Bible Studies in many ways. Some women begin a relationship with Jesus Christ through one of these small-group studies. Some learn more about Jesus soon after they decide to follow Him. Some come to deepen their understanding of Scripture. Each Stonecroft Bible Study, led by a trained guide, includes discussion questions, Scriptures to investigate, and time to pray. Each study includes the message of God’s love and how we can be reconciled with Him through His Son.

Stonecroft Military

Many military women feel isolated and alone. They need a listening ear, a place to belong, and a message of hope. Stonecroft Military provides that. Our Military volunteers understand the challenges of military life through personal experience as a military spouse or veteran. These volunteers not only take the Gospel to women on military bases and posts, but they also equip them to share Christ’s love as they create community and strengthen families.

Other Oppurtunities

Local Stonecroft volunteers sometimes develop their own unique outreaches to share Jesus with women from all walks of life in their communities. While these outreach events differ in format and venue, each is focused on reaching women where they are, as they are, with the Gospel.

We Do It
We, as Stonecroft women, love without judgment, serve with passion, and accept others because Jesus accepts us. Jesus calls His followers to spread the Gospel. We answer this call, no matter our denominational background, age, or ethnicity. As women experience the transformation of Jesus, our lives change, too. We receive great joy when the women we’ve influenced become Christ-followers and develop as volunteers, all because we obeyed Christ’s call.
Statement of Faith

According to the Scriptures, we believe in:

  1. the supernatural and plenary (total, full, complete) inspiration of the Scriptures – that they are inerrant and that their teachings and authority are absolute, supreme and final; the Trinity of the Godhead – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit;
  2. the personality of God; the personality and deity of Jesus Christ (Jesus Christ and God are one, Jesus Christ is God incarnate in the flesh), begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, very God and very Man; the personality of the Holy Spirit;
  3. the resurrection of Jesus Christ – that His body was raised from the dead, according to the Scriptures, and that He ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of God as the believer’s Advocate;
  4. the sinfulness of man – that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, are totally depraved, and need a Savior from sin;
  5. the atonement – that Jesus Christ became the sinner’s sacrifice before God when He shed His blood and died as the propitiation (payment) for the sins of the whole world;
  6. the necessity of the new birth – salvation is by grace, through faith, and not of works. Saving faith will maintain good works in the life of the believer;
  7. the literal resurrection of the body – both of the just and the unjust;
  8. the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting punishment of the lost;
  9. the evangelization of the world. The supreme mission of God’s people in this age is to preach the gospel to every person;
  10. the second coming of Christ, according to the Scriptures.

This statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God, speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality and proper conduct of mankind, and is the sole and final source of all that we believe. For purposes of STONECROFT’s faith, doctrine, practice, polity and discipline, our Board of Directors is the organization’s final interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application.

We Do It
We equip women for evangelism through training and resources. Our training is multifaceted, preparing volunteers for leadership, event speaking, facilitating small groups, and several ways of sharing the Gospel one-on-one. We also develop different types of resources to help in evangelistic efforts. We create Stonecroft Bible Studies, Conversations guides, handbooks, conference calls, digital trainings, and social media content as tools to share the Gospel to reach as many women as possible, across the generations, in the most relevant and effective ways possible.

Stonecroft relies on God through prayer to explore and discover opportunities to share the Gospel. And our prayers ask God to empower and equip us to tell others about Jesus with His wisdom and love.

We Do It
Stonecroft volunteers share the Gospel through many types of outreaches and small groups they lead across the United States. The work of these volunteers is supported by about 30 staff members located at the Home Office in Overland Park, Kansas, and in Field locations throughout the nation. Stonecroft also relates to international partners in more than 40 countries worldwide.

Stonecroft empowers these international partners to translate and reproduce Stonecroft Bible Studies and other evangelism resources. Our partners use these materials to help women and their families – from many cultures and backgrounds – to begin a relationship with Jesus and to grow as believers.

We also teach international partners how to conduct our evangelism training and some of our newer outreaches. In turn, some of these partners translate our training resources into other languages and train even more women overseas.
