Mike joined Stonecroft because he wanted to do something that was making a real difference for good. After 30+ years in the corporate world, he really wanted to work for something much bigger than life. After several years of praying and searching, he felt the tug of the Lord saying it is time to serve. Stonecroft presented him with the perfect opportunity to not only help, but to learn from some incredible women in ministry. After having the opportunity to pray during his first interview, he knew this was something special and that it was a ministry filled with the Spirit.

Mike is married to his best friend, Kim. They have one son, Jordan who has blessed them with four grandchildren. Originally, from Michigan, he and Kim moved to Florida in 2012 to follow career opportunities. They love the community and friends that they have made, but being away from family has played a toll. Now both in ministry and working remote, they plan to move to northern Georgia soon to be with their son, daughter-in-law, and grandkids.

In his role at Stonecroft, Mike feels blessed that he gets to work for the Lord every day. He feels blessed to hear the stories that are shared by our volunteers, whether it is from them directly or shared by them. So many of these stories speak to his own walk with Christ and he is deeply touched when they are shared. Praying evangelistically within an organization that makes this part of its foundation and learning so much from each woman he speaks with has a profound impact on his daily walk.

Mike feels that his greatest blessing while working at Stonecroft is the opportunity to serve, while experiencing the true love of Christ through all the Stonecroft women. Seeing such compassion, commitment, and love from Stonecroft nation is the greatest blessing that he could have ever asked for.
