The Stonecroft Military National Team gathered over Veteran’s Day in Colorado for its Mile High Summit. This summit is a time to pray, plan, and pursue the next year together.
Barb Vernoski, the newest addition to the Military Team, shared an idea with the others. The team turned the idea into an innovative Prayer Walk at the top of Pikes Peak. As the team members marched to the top, they sang “America the Beautiful,” the patriotic lyrics written there by Katharine Lee Bates in 1913. The team’s mission: get as close to heaven as they could get and pray over every Stonecroft Military volunteer, veterans, and active duty families.
Mission accomplished. This team works together to reach women where they are, as they are, supporting each other in their outreach ideas to share the Gospel across the nation.
