The Sterling, Colorado After 5 responded to its low attendance last spring with high-energy prayer and determination. Since then, God has nearly quadrupled their attendance.
First timers are a large part of the increase, and they return and bring their friends! The After 5 and Women’s Connection work together to promote their events through radio, TV, Facebook, and more.
Personal attention also spurs growth. One Planning Team member recently stepped down from her position to spend more time with the women she invites during the event. Another Team member hands out invitations to disenfranchised women. These guests receive a free meal on their first visit.
Twelve women have recently received Jesus Christ or seem about ready to make the decision. Years of prayer and loads of tenacity lead to great rejoicing!
