Stonecroft Announces Staff Transitions

Stonecroft recently said farewell to Director of Stewardship Deborah Horne – and welcomed new Divisional Field Director Traci Crowder.

Deborah retired from her Field-based position March 31. She served Stonecroft for nearly 11 years in various roles in our Stewardship Department, most recently focusing on raising ministry funds in the western states. Before her service with Stonecroft, Deborah worked in development for Young Life, a youth evangelism organization. During retirement, she will continue to live near Sacramento, California.

Traci joined our staff April 1 as Divisional Field Director for Great Lakes/Mid-South. Most recently, she served in children’s ministry, social media, and discipleship on the staff of a church that she and her husband, Tyler, helped to plant in Louisville, Kentucky. A pastor’s daughter and a pastor’s wife, Traci also has experience as a high school English teacher, data processing specialist, administrative assistant, and in various other church positions. The Crowders have one son and are expecting another in July.

Stonecroft Website Gets a New Look

We launched an exciting new look for stonecroft.org in April! The changes are intended to make the site easier to use and understand, more relevant to visitors, and more visually appealing. The first phase of these improvements involves just the front side, the part of the site visited by potential volunteers and donors and people who don’t know about Stonecroft.

These initial improvements don’t change for now the way you log in or access forms and resources you’re accustomed to using as a volunteer. Later, we will improve the volunteer side of the site. As we move closer to that second phase of the site enhancements, we’ll share more information about those changes and how we can help you navigate them.

We expect there will be some kinks that need to be ironed out during this first phase of improvements. If you find any issues, please contact us at [email protected].

Women’s Connection Resource Guides in the Mail

It’s time to order Group Supplies! By now, Chairs and Stonecroft Regional Leaders should have received a copy of the Women’s Connection Resource Guide showing 2018 Group Supplies available to Women’s Connection Groups.

The Resource Guide contains an image, description, and packaging information for commonly used Group Supply items. Order online at stonecroft.org. It’s easy and the most effective method of placing your order. Order by May 31 to guarantee delivery in June.

If you’re a Chair of a Women’s Connection Group and haven’t received your Resource Guide, or if you need help ordering supplies, please email [email protected] or contact Ministry Support at 800.525.8627. We’ll be delighted to assist you!

Hubs Launched in Oklahoma and Nevada

We’re thrilled to welcome our four newest hubs – three in the Tulsa, Oklahoma, area and one in Las Vegas, Nevada! Congratulations to Stonecroft Owasso, Sand Springs, South Tulsa, and Las Vegas! These additions bring our nationwide hub count to more than 30 – and numerous potential hubs are getting ready to launch.

Primarily led by younger women, each hub is a local volunteer organization of Christian women of all ages who are passionate to share the Gospel with their friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Volunteers gather in these community-based organizations to receive training about how to share the Gospel. Each hub prayerfully creates and carries out plans to take the Good News to their peers. Find out more about hubs at stonecroft.org/hubs.
