Podcast to Launch Series on Interfaith Conversations

This month we’re kicking off Season 2 of our Ears to Speak podcast with a series called Interfaith Conversations, exploring how to talk with people from other faith backgrounds. Listen in as co-hosts Jessica Leep Fick and Maddison Berciunas interview three friends currently living in the Kansas City area – a Muslim woman from Saudi Arabia, a woman who converted to Judaism as an adult, and a woman who seeks direction from “the Universe and the Law of Attraction.” These three fascinating episodes will be released simultaneously on July 13, so you can enjoy them all at once or individually at stonecroft.org/earstospeak.

This past June we also offered two bonus episodes after the close of Season 1:

Finding Wealth in Unexpected Places – Jessica shares how Jesus carried her family through the devastation of losing their home during the housing market crash of 2008.

How God Redeemed My Motherless Life – Maddison tells how God took something difficult in her life – having an absent mother – and redeemed it for her good.

Stonecroft Welcomes New Hubs in California, Texas, and Wisconsin

We’re excited to announce the start of three hubs – our first in Wisconsin, our second in California, and our seventh in Texas! Welcome to Stonecroft Balsam Lake (Wisconsin), Stonecroft San Diego (California), and Stonecroft McKinney (Texas)! These additions move our official hub count to nearly 40.

“We’re thrilled to welcome these three hubs to our Stonecroft family – and we can’t wait to see how God is going to use the women in these hubs to share the Gospel in their communities!” said Sarah LeBlanc, Director of Field Ministry. “Please join us in praying for the leaders of these hubs and for each Divisional Field Director who is training them.”

A Stonecroft hub is a community of women who gather for fun, relationship building, training, prayer, and planning creative and relevant ways to reach other women in their circles of influence with the Gospel. To learn more about hubs, go to stonecroft.org/hubs.

Home Office, Field Staff Meet for Training, Inspiration, Celebration

Stonecroft’s Field and Home Office staff members gathered for a special time of training, inspiration, and celebration in June at our Home Office in Overland Park, Kansas. This annual all-staff meeting focused this year on our 80th Anniversary theme of Immeasurably More. While thanking God for the Immeasurably More He has done through Stonecroft volunteers like you, staff from our Kansas office and field locations across the U.S. joined their hearts in worship, praise, and prayer during the three-day gathering. The event also featured biblical dramas presented by Stonecroft Bible Studies author and National Board member Jan Mathers, various training sessions, team-building activities, and praise reports. Stonecroft’s’ 30-plus staff members are “immeasurably blessed” to support you – our valued volunteers – in the ministry God has given you through Stonecroft. Thank you for your faithful service!
