I presented a plan to Stonecroft’s Board of Directors nearly three years ago that
included two major initiatives:

  1. Ensure the future of Stonecroft’s evangelistic outreach by engaging 7,500 new, younger, diverse volunteers in evangelism during the next several years
  2. Reach women with the Gospel through many avenues of evangelism and reorganize around an affiliate model: “Stonecroft Your Community”

We asked current volunteers to help us recruit these 7,500 new volunteers through Stonecroft Prays! and into new forms of outreach.

Nearly three years later, we are thrilled by the results!

Hundreds of new volunteers have joined Stonecroft and now enjoy the “fellowship of the Gospel,” that special bond among women who work together to share the Good News.

Volunteers have prayed heartily for new avenues of outreach through Stonecroft Prays! and the Prays! Walks. Many women have joined our ministry through these initiatives … and started new outreach efforts.

We continue to reach women through Women’s Connection (including Christian Women’s Clubs, After 5s, and Vital Networks) plus Stonecroft Bible Studies. And our Vice President of Women’s Connection is working with volunteer teams to help these outreaches spread the Gospel even more effectively.

The number of women starting a relationship with Jesus has increased through Stonecroft Military and Detox – Healthy Balanced Living. And we are working to reach women in their 20s and 30s through new events, small groups, and topical Bible studies. Plus, we share ideas for newly developed local outreaches like Tale of the Tats through our online Outreach Network.

At the same time, we are working on new ways to support our volunteers, from a new website to enhanced evangelism training. Finally, in the last several months, God has provided eight wonderfully committed, talented new staff members – like  Jessica Leep Fick, our Evangelism Resource Director.

Thank you for the time, talent, treasure, and prayers you pour into this ministry. Because of you, many more women will begin a relationship with the  Savior for many more years to come!
