Happy Fourth of July!

I’ve been listening to the musical “Hamilton” lately. It’s the story of Alexander Hamilton, one of our nation’s Founding Fathers. So, of course, the musical centers on the events of our nation’s birth – from our fight for freedom to our first feeble steps forward. I’ve learned so much and enjoyed the process as I sing along! We are a free nation, thanks to men like Hamilton.

I served briefly in the former Soviet Union as a missionary – and lived in Moscow when communism tumbled. I traveled to Russia as a student of the Russian language (da!) because it was illegal to share the Gospel – though the law never stopped me. I will never forget landing back in the U.S. I could feel the freedom in the air when I stepped off the plane, as opposed to the oppression and darkness I felt in that communist country.

We might not feel free all the time, but in the United States, we are free. We are still free to share our faith. What a privilege!

The truth is that we don’t always act as if we are free to talk about Jesus – and that’s because our fears keep us in bondage. We don’t feel free to open our mouths because we fear the consequences – rejection or causing someone to feel uncomfortable, of doing it wrong and pushing someone away from God (as if we are in control!).

That’s where Stonecroft comes in!

We give our volunteers freedom to talk about their best friend, Jesus. Every woman can find the perfect role in the evangelism process. This may be hosting a small group, sharing the Gospel as a Speaker, participating in an outreach planning team, or guiding a Conversation or a Stonecroft Bible Study. Many different roles exist. We train our volunteers to share their story – how they began a relationship with Jesus – in nonthreatening ways. We provide the tools and resources that free our volunteers to help women reconcile with God.

Essentially, we engage, equip, and encourage volunteers to break free from fear to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with each woman where she is, as she is. And we leave the results up to God!

So, what are you afraid of? Let us help you find freedom! If you need training, support, or encouragement, contact us at 800-525-8627. Email us at [email protected].

Find freedom to invite thousands more first-time guests to our Women’s Connection events. As more first-time guests come through the doors, women will begin a relationship with Jesus. You will then have the unbelievable privilege of watching God transform lives before your very eyes.

Find freedom to start more Stonecroft Bible Studies and other small community-group outreaches. As women read the Bible, the Word does the work of drawing them to Jesus and transforming their lives.

Find freedom to tell your friends, family, neighbors, work associates, and strangers how they can know the God of the Universe through His Son, Jesus. Let us train you to share your story.

Find freedom to start new forms of outreach. Join a local Stonecroft organization – the hub – where young, diverse volunteers find relevant avenues to take the Gospel to their peers. And if you are committed to Women’s Connection, refer your young friends to us and we’ll engage them in a nearby hub.

Find freedom to keep your legacy going. Invest financially in Stonecroft and have no fear – we will diligently use your donation to do all we can to reach women with the Gospel and to train women to share the Gospel as volunteer leaders – for years to come! (You can make a gift right now, !).

We in the United States are still free by law to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with women in our communities, where they are, as they are. Let’s ask God to free us from any personal fears that keep us from sharing that Gospel to all who desperately need to hear it!
