The transition from summer to fall can consume us in calendars, schedules, and planning. While we may find it comforting to get into the groove of life, we don’t have to settle on what we’ve planned for the months ahead. Our God can do unbelievable things, things way beyond what we can see, think or feel. When we give control to Him, He will take our plans and magnify them beyond our wildest thoughts and dreams.
Just last month, our Key Leader Retreat focused on this very theme. Though we carefully planned and created a solid agenda for the three-day event, what God did with our plans far exceeded all we had imagined. Faith stories gripped our hearts, prayer time engaged us in intercession, fellowship created friendships, teaching inspired new ideas, and planning prepared us for the future. What began as an agenda of tasks became an experience of spiritual growth.
So let GO and let GOD take your planner. Then watch as He surprises you with His plans!
