Sue Harvey remembers vividly the first time she attended a Neenah, Wisconsin, Fox Valley Women’s Connection outreach.

“Joe and I had just transferred from Atlanta to Wisconsin … when I spotted an invitation to a Stonecroft luncheon. We still had boxes everywhere, but I found something to wear and made the first social contact in our new community,” Sue recalls.

Sue became a regular at the meetings and soon began serving on the planning committee.

“Stonecroft helped me feel connected and meet new friends,” she says. “I’m grateful to Stonecroft for the opportunities I’ve been given,” says Sue, who today serves as Chair of this same Group and as a Stonecroft Regional Administrator. “I’ve grown greatly in my faith, communication, and business skills, and I’ve been able to volunteer in meaningful, fruitful work. There is no greater joy or reward than seeing a life transformed by Jesus Christ.”

Stonecroft’s influence in Sue’s and Joe’s lives leaves a legacy of passion to reach others with the Gospel. “So many women are hurting and trying to get through life on their own,” Sue says. “They need Jesus.”

Joe shares Sue’s heart for evangelism and volunteers for Young Life, a ministry that reaches teens with the Gospel.

“We’ve seen God move in amazing ways and watched Him iron out challenges that only He could. It’s really thrilling,” Sue relates.

Over the years, the Harveys have thought carefully about their financial stewardship. “With so many worthy charitable causes, we’ve made some deliberate choices to support those who share our passion for evangelism,” says Sue. “It’s our hope that Stonecroft continues to effectively reach future generations for Christ.”

Like the Harveys, you, too, can give to Stonecroft’s evangelistic efforts. Your contributions leave a Gospel legacy in the lives of women, funding new initiatives to engage younger volunteers, who in turn share the Good News with their friends through new avenues. In addition to continuing current outreach, your gifts support the start of Stonecroft hubs, local volunteer organizations reaching women where they are, as they are.

“I pray that you will join Joe and me in supporting Stonecroft and that God will give great wisdom to all of us as we strive to make Him known,” Sue says.
