Celebrating with those closest to us is special, isn’t it?

Stonecroft loves to celebrate. In fact, “celebrate continuously” is one of our staff values. We love joyously recognizing what God is doing through the ministry. This month, some of our staff members and key volunteers share with you, those closest to our ministry, some of the happenings that are creating excitement around here. So, get out the big balloons, sling the swirly streamers, and pull up a chair to the Stonecroft family table as we celebrate.

We hear from Women’s Connection volunteers weekly who tell us how God is moving in their Groups. Recently in Arizona, the lives of seven women and four men were transformed after hearing the Good News at a guest event. Also, eight women began a relationship with Jesus Christ at the Bartlesville, Oklahoma, jail where volunteers shared with the women there how to prepare for job interviews when they are released. The Gospel was shared also!

In Stonecroft Bible Studies, we are celebrating the soon-to-be-launched topical study that addresses what God says about the purpose He gives us for every season. And in our Speaker ministry, we’re excited that the new National Speakers List is on its way! We have new Speaker Training in place and there’s more to come!

I attended the first 80th celebration event at St. Simons Island, Georgia, in March. It was a high-energy, five-state gathering of about 200 Stonecroft volunteers. There was a fresh wind of excitement as the women shared their successes with each other and as they caught the vision for the future of Stonecroft.

Several more such events are already on the calendar. We look forward to hearing of the “immeasurably more” that will come about as we celebrate all that God has done in the past, what He is doing now, and what He will do in the future through Stonecroft.

The Field Directors are celebrating the five decisions to follow Christ through three Stonecroft outreaches this past month! We also are enthused that new women contact us every week who are excited and interested in the hubs and doing outreach in their communities.

We’re also celebrating a unified, creative, and gifted team of Field Directors who above all desire to follow God’s lead and see Him move around the nation. We had an amazing, productive retreat in February, where we made plans and built relationships!

The Outreach Department is celebrating Detox – find your balance events held in Louisville, Kentucky; Tyler, Texas; Woodbridge, Virginia; and Pueblo, Colorado; this spring.

We’re also celebrating the completion of the third preformatted Detox breakout session. Several inquiries for a writer for this material had fallen through, so our Detox team prayed, asking the Lord where to turn next. Then we received an email from a Certified Health Coach, Deniece Krebs, in Louisville, Kentucky. We are grateful for her willingness to follow the Lord’s lead and write the Everyday Toxins session. Now, planning a Detox – find your balance is easier than ever, with body, mind, and spirit sessions ready for leaders to use.

Outreach is also excited about Story Marks, a one-night gallery experience that features local women and the stories behind their tattoos. Christian women share stories of chaos, redemption, love, sacrifice, and hope, as they tell others about Jesus. During the event, we see women’s photos and their stories on display and women share their stories live. This event is stirring the hearts of women around the country. They want Story Marks in their community! We are building local volunteer teams who seek God together as they imagine and implement bold new outreaches that are powerful and relevant.

You can learn more about Story Marks and read a few of these stories on our Facebook page.

The National Military Team 2018-19 planning and training sessions were held March 16-20 on Army Post Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina.

National Military Consultants Barbara Vernoski, Tammy Ortung, Teasia Levin, and I hit the ground running on Friday through bonding, praying, planning, training, and celebrating the success of meeting team goals this year and planning our next year.

On Saturday, we had an outreach training breakfast and trained and commissioned two new volunteers to serve on the Military Team. The next day we attended chapel services on post. A second outreach training was held on Monday and we recruited a third volunteer.

That day and the next, we networked with more than 50 military ministries at the annual Fellowship of Military Ministries Conference and Chaplain Appreciation Luncheon. Our team presented our ministry to chaplains across the nation and connected with many key people to expand the Stonecroft Military ministry. Expanding our outreach for chaplains’ wives and chapel women’s retreats will help us reach more women where they are, as they are on their faith journey. This week we lived out Titus 2, reaching across the generational span to pass the baton of our faith in Jesus Christ.
