The Levites calmed all the people, saying, "Be still, for this is a sacred day. Do not grieve." —Nehemiah 8:11, NIV
I love how the Levites lead. In battle, they faithfully go before the army of the Lord. In worship, they set the stage with praise and honor to God. And, in this passage in Nehemiah, they call the people to stillness.
