Thinking of the lovely celebration of Thanksgiving brought several verses to my attention. When we reflect on giving thanks, we tend to focus on the comforts, family, and good gifts God has given us—as we should. But these verses challenged me to expand my thanks giving this year.
Congress has extended the Charitable IRA Rollover for 2008-2009. Donors age 70-1/2 or older can make gifts to Stonecroft from their traditional IRAs and exclude the amount from their federal income taxes.
