STONECROFT HEART AWARD

SEEKING VOLUNTEERS WITH HEART
A very special presentation was instituted at IMPACT 06—the Stonecroft Heart Award. This award goes to someone who exemplifies the heart of Stonecroft Ministries. You can make a valuable contribution to Impact ’08 by helping us select an exceptional volunteer as this year’s honoree.

You have the opportunity to nominate someone for this award—someone who has inspired you.  The qualities we are looking for are:

• . Currently serves in an appointed Stonecroft volunteer position
• . Faithfully equips and encourages others to share the Gospel
• . Lives out the Stonecroft mission by impacting the lives of others   through her godly example and fruitful life
• . Demonstrates missional living and creativity in her community   outreach

From the names of people recommended, the National Board members will select the one they believe best models the mission of our ministry today. The award will be presented at the Celebrate! Luncheon on Friday, October 10, by National Board Chair Vera Velk.

Nominations need to be e-mailed to Field Directors Nancy Sprowls at nsprowls@stonecroft.org and Kathy White at kwhite@stonecroft.org before August 1. Please include the following:

• The name of the person, their current volunteer position with Stonecroft and where they serve, specific reasons why you feel they should be the recipient of the “Stonecroft Heart Award,” and specific illustrations about how this woman exemplifies the qualities listed above.

This will be a difficult decision to make because there are so many Stonecroft volunteers who qualify. Please help us acknowledge the heart of the Stonecroft mission by honoring one of our wonderful volunteers.
