IMPROVEMENT ALL OVER

-Hope is rekindled in Batesville as five first-timers attended the Batesville After 5 dinner on July 25 and six women made decisions to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Linda Tuttle, former Chair of the group, said she and others are praying for a planning team to keep the outreach group a viable voice for the Gospel in this Indiana town between Indianapolis and Cincinnati.

The outreach event last month, themed 'Improvement All Over,' drew 40 women from the area-nearly a dozen more than the June event. The owner of the local Curves for Women presented a feature about healthy exercise after a healthy meal was served. Then, Stonecroft speaker Lynn Hodge spoke about how changing attitudes can improve relationships and prevent loneliness. Lynn clearly presented the message of God's love through His Son, Jesus, and invited those in attendance to begin a relationship with Him that evening.

Linda said the outreach group, now six years old, is struggling to find leadership. However, two women not currently involved are planning to attend the August 8 Planning Meeting and another is interested in starting the Stonecroft Bible Study Who Is Jesus?

Praise God for His goodness in drawing the six women to Him through the efforts of the Batesville group and pray that He would bless the group with additional Planning Team members. share your story here!
