Thank you for the prayers for our group in Owego, NY.  We were able to have our November and December outreach meetings, after being closed down for September and October, and were so blessed to be back together again with the ladies in our area.  We do, however, need continued prayer for our numbers to increase.  We have seen a decline of 25-30 and are praying that our ladies will return as God puts their lives back together from the flooding.  Many have not been able to return to their homes and have had to relocate.  We continue to trust God that He is working all things together for our good and His glory.  God bless all that read this.

God to bring young women to our "10 Smart Things Women Can Do to Build a Better Life" SBS beginning on January 9, 2012.

Please pray for our friend and fellow christian Dean Burfurd jr. Dean has been batteling decubitis ulcers on his bottom. Dean is a parapalegic following a logging accident many years ago. As everyone probably knows the body has to work harder as we age and he has found it increasingly harder to fight skin breakdown. Dean will be having surgery on Jan 11, 2012 to create a skin flap to cover the affected area. There will be extensive physical therapy following the surgery because Dean has been fighting this problem for over a year.  Thank you  very much.

Would you please pray for the people of the Owego, NY area and other areas of Tioga & Broome counties.  Many people in these areas have been displaced due to severe flooding.  Also the facility that houses our CWC luncheon each month is still under renovation so we have not been able to have our outreach meetings in September and October.  Praying that we will resume in November. God has been so faithful through it all and we continue to praise Him.

Pomfret CT Women's Connection is honoring veterans on Nov. 11, 3 veterans sharing their experience and former Air Force officer for speaker. Meeting is open to men as well; please pray many vets/men will attend. An honor guard will be standing at the door w/flags and audience will be singing the songs of various branches of service. We are also collecting items for local vets and donations for a new veteran's home near here. We are asking God for 75-100 attendees - we know our Almighty God can do this, He has a heart for the lost and so do we.

Tracy Hamburger :

She had surgery to remove a tumor very close her heart. It was necessary to crack open her chest. She will have a long recovery.She has three small children, one that she is nursing. She hopes to pump her breast milk (which is extremely painful after this surgery) while she is in the hospital to be able to continue nursing when she returns home.

Please pray the doctors has wisdom in finding and treating why I have been extremely fatigued, short of breath and heaviness in my chest. Tests are being run but no answers. May God provide healing so I may continue to serve Him!
