Prayer has no boundaries or limitations.

There is no place where your prayers to the one and only God cannot penetrate, no circumstance prayers cannot impact. As the mother of adult children, your greatest influence into their lives is through prayer. Prayer Worth Repeating is a devotional prayer guide designed to focus your prayers and encourage you to trust God more deeply as He works in the lives of your adult children. The guide is meant to be used in small groups, but can be used on your own.

Your prayer life matters. Your prayers have no limits! Your prayers unite you with God as He works in places you cannot visit. Your prayers partner you with God in circumstances far beyond your reach. Remember, where God is, the ground is holy. Holiness walks hand-in-hand with the miraculous. Impenetrable walls crumble in the presence of the Holy. When God is present for your child, the ground he or she stands on becomes holy ground.

I cannot think of a better reason to walk in faithfulness than knowing it will impact my children and my children’s children.  Think of it!  Your faithfulness has significant influence on your family—long after you’ve ceased to exist on this Earth.  For those of you with control issues, this should make you really happy!

Why I Wrote PRAYER WORTH REPEATING

What women are saying:

As parents with adult children who are not walking closely with the Lord, we know the anguish of praying for them to come into a solid relationship with Him.  I have often felt my prayers for them have gone stale-repetitive, vague, unfocused.  While I have always had faith to believe the kids will return to Him someday, Prayer Worth Repeating helped so much in reshaping my attitude about God's timing, His great love for our children, and the value He places on them.  Through praying specific scriptures for them and myself, I feel more freedom to release them into God's control, letting Him have His way with them.

As the mother of a young woman who has recently graduated college and moved hundreds of miles away from home to launch her career, reading Prayer Worth Repeating was perfect timing for me. I believe it was God's timing. I am now officially the mother of an adult child, and about the only real active role I can have in her life is to fervently pray for her as I leave her in God's hands. The devotions spoke to my heart and encouraged me. As for the prayers-they most definitely are worth repeating.
