LUKE
The Stonecroft Bible Study of Luke offers a glimpse into the life of Christ, from the perspective of one of His disciples, and affords us the opportunity to recognize Jesus as both God and Man--as both the promised Savior of Israel and the Savior of each and every person.
While Luke is one of four Gospels, it is unique in many ways. Accounts found only in the Gospel of Luke include: Jesus' visit to the Temple as a youth and the parables of the Good Samaritan and the Lost Son.
According to the Good News New Testament, "great emphasis is placed on prayer, the Holy Spirit, the role of women in the ministry of Jesus, and God's forgiveness of sins." Throughout this study, you will explore these timeless truths with the intention of applying the lessons to your life today.

- Six prayers of Jesus Christ are solely recorded in this Gospel.
"The Gospel of Luke is called the most beautiful book ever written, because it is written in the spirit of the One of whom it speaks. It is an accurate, historical account, written in a polished, classical style, and penned in simple beauty by a writer who appreciated art and poetry."
