Sandpiper

"I invite you to join me on an adventure of fatih. May you hear God's call to leave the security and safety of the water's edge and become all you were meant to be." -Meryl Bishop

Meryl leads you on a journey with God through these fifty-two inspiring devotionals. During your quiet times with Jesus, He will prepare you for the week ahead and bring you closer to Him, your loving Savior. Meryl will inspire you to step off the beach and into God's potential for you!

Page after pagSandpipere is graced with the beautiful original art of talented Cape May, NJ artist, Deborah Burow. Each uplifting piece was created specifically to enhance the themes of this book.

Complete with journal pages to record your thoughts for the week, this is one devotional book you'll return to again and again... and treasure for many years to come.

Be watching for Meryl's next two books, The Flight of the Sandpiper and The Song of the Sandpiper. In The Flight... you'll watch God exchange Meryl's flip-flops for running shoes. And in The Song... you will experience what happens when God tells Meryl to write a book!

About the Author

Meryl Bishop

Meryl Bishop is originally from South Africa, where she first developed her love of the sea. At the age of 18, she landed a job in the Pensions Department in a South African government office. A co-worker there was influential in helping her decide to commit her life to Christ, and her journey with Him took her through Bible School and to a job at a Christian bookstore. While working at the Christian Bookstore in South Africa, Meryl learned about Stonecroft Ministries and became involved in a local group. She came to the USA in 1980 to visit Stonecroft for two and a half months. While there, the Lord changed the direction of her life and her two and a half month visit turned into 28 years of service as a National Representative and then a National Prayer Consultant for Stonecroft Ministries. She also became a US citizen. Now, after "retiring," Meryl pursues her writing, and continues to travel for Stonecroft on a volunteer basis conducting her Keeping Watch prayer events and speaking at outreach groups.
