Stonecroft Speaker Consultants and Stonecroft Speaker Trainers are committed to preparing women to uphold this verse. Stonecroft is blessed with 64 Consultants and Trainers across the United States who give their time and talents to train others to share their story—God’s story. 

This past August, these leaders came to the Home Office; while together, they set goals for the Stonecroft Speaker ministry in the areas of Revision, Recruiting, Retraining, and Releasing for the 2011 year. These goals include:

• Revision:  Develop stronger communication with outreach groups and regional leaders with the vision to reach every age, every stage, and every face. Offer training opportunities to Planning Teams in sharing their faith story in 3-5 minutes. (The Consultants and Trainers also re-visioned the speaker lists to include bios, pictures, styles of talk, and take-home value.)
• Recruit:  Attract and recruit speakers who effectively reach every age, every stage, and every face. Identify speakers who can be excellent in the areas of workshops, drama, topical, etc. List places in communities where you can recruit.
• Retrain:  Work with current speakers to develop varied presentation styles that have take-home value for women of every age, every stage, and every face. Provide Cultural Awareness training opportunities for regional leaders, planning teams, and speakers.
• Release:  Develop a speaker release process to ensure speakers meet speaker ministry standards. Include evaluation that looks at relevance, freshness, and other needs important to drawing women of every age, every stage, and every face.

This past year at Stonecroft (April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2011) Speaker Consultants and Speaker Trainers recorded 33 speaker training events across the country, with 629 taking part in the 3-5 minute faith story training.

We look forward to reports of even greater numbers of women preparing to share the hope that is within them in more effective and powerful ways through Stonecroft Speaker Training in the year ahead.
